Manitoba Wolf Trapping Workshops

MB Wolf Trapping Workshop Poster

On behalf of Manitoba Agriculture, the Manitoba Trappers Association is circulating the attached poster to let you know about some upcoming wolf trapping workshops. These workshops will focus on developing and enhancing wolf trapping skills in order to assist livestock producers experiencing livestock predation losses.

All trappers with an interest in predator trapping are encouraged to attend. In particular, trappers who currently work under the Targeted Predator Removal Program (TPRP), or those interested in becoming a program trapper are encouraged to attend. In addition to hearing from an expert trapper, these workshops provide an opportunity for participating trappers to share their skills and knowledge as well as develop relationships and facilitate mentorship for trappers that are newer to trapping. Information about the TPRP will also be provided.

There is no cost to attend, but registration with Manitoba Agriculture is required by September 25th . Please see the attached poster for additional details. MB Wolf Trapping Workshop Poster
